Treatment for Quadricep Strain
When quadricep strain or rupture occurs, it is advisable to elevate the affected leg immediately to avoid potential spasms, reduce hemorrhage, and avoid any further complications.
Cease all activities and stay immobile to allow the injured leg to heal properly. Bed rest is recommended for the first few days to minimize pressure on the affected leg.
