Piece of Junk Knee Scooter!

I would rate it a "0" if they would let me. This is an unsafe piece of junk! I bought this knee scooter from Amazon in July of 2025, by August, it fell apart. The folding mechanism broke and made it impossible to operate without wrecking. I sent photos and video to VIVE Customer Service and they refused to replace my scooter stating that they didn't see anything wrong with it. I offered to ship it back so they could see for themselves but they declined. The Amazon ad says it has a Lifetime Warranty - BS. They don't warranty anything. This company should NOT be allowed to sell such dangerous medical equipment. I will not take this lightly, I will continue my fight to have this company and this product investigated and shut down. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and look anywhere else for a better product. Customer Service is horrible!

I’m almost 6’ tall so as I rode this out the store, it never crossed my mind that it would not be the right height for my 5’6 daughter. I lowered it to the absolute lowest setting and still uncomfortably tall for her.

Bought it one year ago for ankle replacement. I had 2 prior ankle replacements and had previously rented other knee walkers. This time I bought. It is very stable and well built. I am glad I bought it because I need it again

Don’t get of your under 5’10”

I am so disappointed and saw a review after I purchased that mentioned my issue. I’m 5’4.5” and this guy is a solid 4 inches too tall for me. I wish they had a child/teen size. It should have leg length dimensions so that you can ensure it will fit well. I’m really disappointed as I have an autoimmune condition that leaves my one leg barely tolerable to walk on. I miss getting out into nature and doing activities with my family. Vive, please consider making a shorter scooter for the height impaired adult.

    How to Tighten the Steering Column on the Knee Walker?

    Operating Instructions:

    • Center injured leg on the knee pad, covering the entire length of the padding.
    • Standing as straight as possible, propel yourself forward using uninjured leg.
    • Engage the security lock before attempting to transfer from the knee walker.

    Braking System:

    • To lock the hand brake, pull the brake lever on the handlebar towards you.
    • To lock the brake system, pull the brake lever towards you and push down on the locking pin on top of the lever. The pin will lock the wheels in place.

    Height Adjustment:

    • Loosen the locking lever under the knee pad and remove the locking pin.
    • Adjust the knee pad to the desired height and replace the locking pin to secure it in place.

    Folding Instructions:

    • Pull up on the twist lock lever to unsecure the folding joint.
    • Twist the level counter-clockwise a couple of times to loosen the locking mechanism.
    • Fold down the twist lock lever and slide it to the left to disengage the lock holding the steering column upright.
    • Push the steering column back into the folded position.
    • Remove the knee platform if necessary for more compact storage and portability.
