I like how the bottoms are a hard, but flexible material and the tops are cushioned. I wear a size 11 Avia for work and I bought the women's large insoles. After cutting them down to the size 9 on the insole, they fit perfectly in the shoe and do not move around. The arches are a good height for my feet. My aches feel much better and less aggravated after working on my feet all night or walking 2-3 miles.

Arch support was a little off for me
I think the product itself is probably very well made and durable (too soon to tell). This one was a little stiff, but I put them in shoes that didn't have much support so that was ok. The arch support hit my heal/arch area rather than the arch, but maybe it is supposed to. It was comfortable, just felt odd to start with having the bump in my shoe there. I got used to it and had no problems after that.
