    A great help

    My husband ordered this for me and set it up. It was recommended by Consumer Reports. It has made my life so much easier. Recently diagnosed with an autoimmune caused Arthritis and didn't realize how hard it would be to ease myself onto the toilet. This is so easy, what a great help. For us, better than installing a grab bar on the wall.

    I ordered this for my sister. She uses my bathroom because it's closer for her. Now I hate going to my bathroom. This thing is as hard as a rock.
    Too bad it doesn't have an adjustable width. It might be a little more comfortable if the handles were farther apart so one would be able to move their legs.

    Great toilet seat riser

    My 92 year old Dad really likes the toilet seat riser. The side handles help him so much to stand up. The higher toilet seat makes it easier for him to get up also.

    Just What I Needed and Arrived Right On Time!

    This toilet seat riser was just want I needed for my 90 YO Dad's visit to my home. It was easy to install, and it's been easy to clean. I really liked that I could use my existing toilet seat with it as that assured me that the seat would be comfortable. My Dad said it is working very well for him. Glad I found this product and would recommend to anyone needing to temporarily raise toilet seating for elderly and/or injured persons. I bought directly from Vive.

    How wide is the toilet elevator?

    The raised toilet seat is 13.89” wide and the distance between the removable handles is 19” wide.

    Does this riser sit under a regular toilet seat?

    Yes! This riser can be installed under a regular toilet seat.

    Does this only fit on standard toilets?

    The raised toilet seat is available for both standard and elongated toilets.

    How do I know if my toilet is standard or elongated?

    Standard toilets are more circular and length and width measurements will be very close. Elongated toilets are more oval in appearance. The length of an elongated toilet will be several inches longer than the width. 

    Will this work with my kohler toilet?

    Yes, the riser can be used with any standard size toilet.

    How high are the handles from the seat base?

    The removable handles are 9.5” high from the toilet rim.

    Can I use it without the handles?

    Yes! The handles are optional and can be removed by pushing the locking pins and pulling the arms out of the base.

    How do I install the toilet seat riser?

     

    • Remove the existing toilet seat and lid from the toilet and place the toilet seat riser on the rim of toilet, ensuring the lip underneath the riser is inside the bowl.
    • Attach the original toilet seat and lid on top of the toilet seat riser using the included hardware.
    • Thread the screws through the holes in the back of the seat with the plastic washers on the top of each screw and the metal washers on the bottom.
    • Tighten each screw with the butterfly nuts for a secure fit.
